aRGH. I never could tell a horn and a violin apart! Incidentally, I disagree
with Herr Fernau's little aphorism down there, at least the way I interpret it.
The causal relationship isn't quite clear to me. He appears to be suggesting
that people in touch with their emotions are inherently happy, while those who
inclined to rational contemplation are inherently not. A more charitable in-
terpretation would be that those who are are happy have license to revel in
their feelings, and those who are miserable should use their heads and think
about the cause of their unhappiness in order to rectify the situation.
