And when you`ve checked all this, try pushing up with right thumb (thumb
rest) to support
fractionally more mouthpiece inside mouth. Not <literally> more, but let
your lips move inwards also with the thumb movement as you begin this
"supporting" re-adjustment. This lip movement does two things. 1) It keeps
the embouchure position on the reed almost as before - you need to ensure
that the position of the lower lip on reed stays as centrally positioned as
possible(most place bottom lip about half way down the reed); and 2) When
the lips move slightly inwards, it creates a larger aural cavity inside
mouth, thus helping to create a fuller tone in altissimo.
