Oh, that's definitely an Albert system clarinet, all right. It does
have the extra ring on the l.h. C hole, and in fact there were a number
of variations of the basic Albert system available at the same time from
the same manufacturers, back when they still made them. There are some
great web sites on Albert system clarinets, including some with
advertisements showing what was available. It seems that they tried
quite a few more variations than have been offered on the Boehm system,
probably because the ?#=!*& Albert system is so inferior to the Boehm
system that they had to keep trying to improve it to make it work. Its
current status speaks for itself. Now, I like to play on an Albert now
that I have a good functioning one, and it's a great exercise in being
flexible, but mostly it makes me feel very warmly grateful for the Boehm
clarinets. Natural selection strikes again!
