Dear List,
Any anti-virus is better than nothing, and the truth of the matter
is...if you have a virus protection on your computer and do not
regularly update the virus definitions...you have nothing. Norton,
McAffee, Ontrak, Data Fellows, are all assistants to a virus free
computer. You are the person that is ultimately responsible for the
safety of you data. Backup, Backup, Backup, Then update, update,
update, don't be complacent, you'll wish you hadn't.
Thanks
Roger

Not in my opinion. I use a suite of tools called Ontrack that
incorporates a very good virus scanner for about 50-60 dollars
online.
It found problems and viruses that Norton didn't/couldn't.
YMMV
