The major works that come to mind are:

Berlioz - Symphonie Fantastique, last movement
Strauss - Til Eulenspiegel <sp?>, Death & Transfiguration
just about anything else by Strauss, Mahler, Stravinsky, Ravel, etc.

Of course, some of the Strauss stuff is actually composed for D clarinet,
but is usually played on Eb clarinet. Although i think the use of C and D
clarinets is coming back in style more.

Could someone recommend an Eb composition (or two or three) of
significant length to which I could listen in order to form a better
sense of what an Eb clarinet sounds like? I'm not asking for a
recommended recording, just for the name(s) of a composition or two that
feature Eb clarinet prominently.
