When you support the clarinet with your thumb and embouchure only (no
other fingers or body parts in contact with the insttrument), does the
clarinet want to roll?

When you look at the reed and the register key, are they in line with
each other, such that a line drawn through the centers of both of them
would proceed straight down the instrument to the bell?
