F# fingerings
There was one tutti passage in Rachmninof's Piano variations on the theme by
Paganini.
It was Throat G# to throat F#, to F natural to F#.
This sequence went on a while. It was very fast.
The way I played it was:
G# plus the first two side keys (7&8)
Let go of the G#, still holding the keys open and playing throat F (which
gave an F#)
Closing the first two keys, giving an F natural.
Then back to the two first keys.(for an F#)
And repeat the whole sequence as necessary.
