UMBC Festival of Chamber Music
October 26-7, 2002
University of Maryland, Baltimore County

*What is it?* - 25 outstanding high school musicians (flutists,
clarinetist, cellists, and pianists) from Virginia to Massachusetts to
Ohio, selected by submitted recorded audition gather to prepare and
present a concert of chamber music. Selection will be a very high
honor!!

Solo competition with cash and scholarship prizes

Concert recorded on CD and distributed to participants

September 15, 2002 deadline for receipt of application and tape/CD (2
contrasting solo works or movements of works, total time of c. 10
minutes)
