It is not necessary to join the union in order to receive the paper. That would
be an expensive subscription indeed. Send a check for $25 to the union, with
your name and address, indicating that you'd like to receive the paper, and you'll
get it once a month, just like union members. When the subscription runs out,
they don't remind you, but I sure find myself missing it when it stops coming
after a year...and off goes another check for $25. I can probably dig up the
NYC local's address at home somewhere if somebody wants that. Let me know.
