I may move a little while I play, but players that move excessively around
me does get distracting. What I've observed from many high school players
like me is that when they move while playing, the positions of their horns
gradually move upwards until they are well above their knees. I think that
at a high school level, moving while playing should be avoided, especially
at full ensemble concerts.
