YES. I move a lot when I play and some say it's not "proper" and a
misguided use of energy that could do better to be directed into the
instrument. "So what," I say-- when I thoroughly enjoy what I'm
playing, I move. It's as simple as that. Besides, on a recording, I
don't find the music to be adversely affected. If I see moving up on
stage during a concert, it enhances my appreciation of what the
musicians are doing. Move all you want if it makes better music for
you!
