Hello, Klarinet List.
I am a few days late in answering E-Mails,
because I've spent the last few days working on
meeting a deadline. I was up all night, because
this morning, August 3, 2002, I just finished my
fourth work to have a Double Fugue in it. It is
my "Fanfare for the Fallen Heroes of the 9-11
Attack" for String Orchestra and is just one of
Five of my works that are scheduled for perfor-
mance on September 6, 2002, in Phoenix,
Arizona! (Later I will re-score it for Brass En-
semble with Percussion and also for Full
Orchestra.)
I finally got a few hours of sleep in the middle
of the day, today, but am still groggy. This was
the fifth of those 5 works, so I can stop composing
for a few days. Now I have to get the Scores and
Parts printed of all my 5 of my works to be played
on that concert.

After I get the Scores and Parts printed for the
September 6, 2002, Concert, the next thing to do
is the rest of my "Sonata No. 1 for (Bb) Clarinet
and Piano", which is scheduled for performance
in October. It has a Triple Fugue sketched for
the fourth movement. Then I have a small stack
of other Clarinet Works to finish by Spring 2003.
Then I can get back to other chamber works. (I
know, I know. I've got to find something to do
with my free time.)
