Since I haven't heard anything about this on the list, here goes
a news flash. Excuse me if it was on the list already, or is
common knowledge...

The NEW Blayman Stand Company has just launched their website,
and will be at major retailers soon, pending the major mail
order companies acceptance. Ask about them at your mailorder
company of choice, or at your local music store! This will tell
the music store you are interested, and they can look into
carrying them. Kind of like getting a new channel from the cable
company...lol!

The website is here...

I was talking to Randy, who owns the new company, and he was
telling me about having purchased the molds fir the stands, and
the manufacturing process of the new stands being the same
composition, weight, size, etc as the old stands.

I can't wait to get my hands on a stand that my dog won't brush
by and knock over, like she does to my clarinets on my
Pak-A-Stand or K & M stand. Luckily, I have good carpet that
caught the clarinets the one time my dog decided to go between
the Bb and the A, parting them like the Red Sea!

They do NOT make an alto or tenor sax stand (they make a
straight soprano stand peg) so I am looking for an alto stand
that is sturdy, also. Any ideas for that one? My alto is lonely
hanging out in the case when I am not playing...

Thanks for the bandwidth!
