Thanks for your advice. I have heard that same thing from a few others. I
will mention that this clarinet _is_ one that I handpicked at the
conference in Oklahoma. The reason it arrived by mail is because I had the
company do a complete overhaul on it (new Valentinos and adjustments as
needed). It is a beautiful clarinet, so much better than my old one. So
that's why I'm concerned about cracking. Being a poor college student,
this instrument needs to last me many years.
