Hi,
I recently started subscribing to the Klarinet Mailing
list. I'm a student in High School and I just bought
a new Buffet R13 clarinet. Unfortunately as I was
cleaning it with the swab that came with it it got
stuck in the upper joint. Its been a really messy
situation and I'm terribly frightened that its going
to ruin the clarinet. Since I have so many swabs and
it was protruding through the top of the joint. I
tried to cut the top off and wanted to force it back
down the way it came. I'm going to go to the place I
bought it tomorrow and hopefully he can take it out,
but if anyone has some suggestions it would be much
appreciated or have any clue what the repairman will
do tomorrow. Please tell me by cutting it I'm not
going to impair his ability to take it out tomorrow.
