Can anyone who doubles flute recommend a good (and comprehensive)
method/tutor? Someone had recommended the Langey, but I can't get it - it's
out of print apparently.
This book isn't comprehensive, but I have found it very helpful,
especially for the beginning doubler: Trevor Wye's book on tone
(officially called "A Trevor Wye Practice Book For the Flute, Book
1: Tone"). Wye presents a focused way of thinking about tone and
about practicing in general.
