I have to admit, I am a bit of a tradsnob when it comes to music and such, but I am open minded enough to look at things from more than one presepective. I was being sarcastic, but when I got the impression that people were being, well, nasty towards what I had to say. So, I went on the defensive. The only reason I am bothering to explain myself is because I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression of me. I am incredibly friendly, really a nice person. So.....
Kimber, what the heck is a "tradsnob".
Secondly, what a lot of blather!
I personally do not favor moderated lists. It always seems to come down to expressing only one person's opinion.
However, with all the gunk this summer from Luby, and Kimber, and a few others, maybe it's time to look at this issue again.
Folks, we have descended to the level of a bad chatroom. What does any of this have to do with playing the clarinet?
