Hi David,

It was talked about on a TV documentary (PBS) done for the 15th anniversary
of Karen Carpenter's death, that they, The Carpenters, started these guitar
solo's in songs! I know that sounds weird, but that is what the documentary
reported! I can not remember what song for the Carpenters it was first done
or what year it was they claim this. Maybe a real Carpenter fan can verify
this.
