Hello Fellow Clarinetists;

This is sort of a two part email, so, here it goes;

Firstly, I recently purchased a BG Super Revelation ligature, and I was
wondering if there is a "break-in" period for the ligature to hold the reed to
the mouthpiece tightly. I am asking this because when I tighten the ligature
I can still move the reed with my fingers. So, am what I experiencing normal
or is the ligature defective? (I have been using an inverted Bonade.)

Second, I'm looking for a Canadian Graduate School that offers a degree in
Clarinet Performance (mainly due to price; I cannot afford to go to
England/Scotland to study). I was wondering which are the best Canadian
Graduate Schools and who are the best teachers (I know that these are a loaded
questions). I'm mainly interested in Chamber Music, Recitalist, Chamber
Orchestra study. You can contact me off the list if you wish.

Thanks
Scott A. MacDonald
