This is true, but it misses the point that some of us are trying to
make.

A "definition" is not simply "all A are B". A satisfactory definition
also excludes cases where "B is not A".

Therefore it's not correct to say that Stravinsky's statement was a
_definition_. Rather, it was a comment about a property of music.

Most people would agree that Stravinsky's comment is accurate. It's
not a definition, however. ....and that's all that some of us are
pointing out.
