As I recall, this film was Taxi Driver, was it not? If it was, it was
certainly quite a remarkable score to end with - the music in Taxi Driver
is pure genius in many respects, in orchestration, contrast, and
concept...or at least, that's how I feel. That film score alone, in my
opinion, puts him amongst the very best composers the 20th century had to
offer.

(And not just because he used two bass clarinets in several spots,
although that was really really really cool, too. ^_^ )
