That is what I do. I wear bifocals normally, but I have single-vision
reading glasses (fortunately I can get away with cheap drug-store jobs)
that I wear for music reading. I keep the reading glasses in a canvas bag
with my tuner, metronome, etc., and music in it, so that, whatever
instrument I am called upon to play for a given rehearsal or performance,
if I grab that instrument and my bag, I have everything I need.
