This is not a self-help project. It is possible for a dentist to level the
teeth somewhat. It does not stop you from biting, but makes it less
PAINFUL to do so, since you will not have jagged edges poking into your
lip. Those who have relatively level teeth to begin with are at an
advantage with single-reed woodwinds.
