It was I who originally posted the 'the contra IS a weapon!' line. I've
played the contra (I primarily play bass) and it is an exceedingly nice
instrument with a very unique sound in the hands of someone who takes it
seriously--and under of the care of a repair tech who knows their
business.

...and I never even really got a chance to play it with a nice
mouthpiece...
