Oh, come on Dan. It's a tagline, for crying out loud. You've worked yourself
up from that to comparing him to people who think "they have the right to
kill you"? If I didn't know you better, I'd think you were trolling.

I sat next to a very fine clarinetist at an orchestra job recently and the
topic of this list came up. Your name stood out with her as being one of the
argumentative souls, excuse the religious connotation - *people,* who made
her decide very promptly to unsubscribe. I mean, she remembered *you* by
name and she has been unsubscribed for a long time now. So it would just be
fitting if someone or something came along that made you decide you just
couldn't take it anymore.

You accuse this guy of propagandizing because he mentions God in his
tagline, yet you get more worked up and evangelical about jumping on some
beginner clarinetist because they said a given horn "makes them sound
better"(just to pick an example at random), than any preacher I ever met,
and adopt the a priori posture that anyone who disagrees (or just can't see
the point) is incompetent and has no right to their views. You're not one to
talk about people who are not interested in what anyone else thinks. His
tagline bugs you? Fine, you've got a right to leave the list, and I'll fight
for your right to unsubscribe. There's a link down on the bottom of this and
every message in the klarinet list. But you've just burned more bandwidth on
this crap than his tagline would have done in a year. Calm down. Take a deep
breath. Go practice.
