Maybe he can contact Paolo de Gaspari and his wife Antonella Chiuchiolla.
They are a great couple, this June my wife and me spent a lovely time with
them. Antonella and I played a few duets, not as many as we would like to,
but my wife is not a musician, and it were also her holidays.

Paolo recently had his final examination on bass clarinet with Henry Bok in
Rotterdam. He plays beautiful, has a complete mastership of the instrument,
and is very enthusiastic of it.

Antonella also is a professional clarinettist, her favorite instrument is
the "clarinetto piccolo" as the Italians say, the clarinet in E-flat. In
January Paolo and she were a week with us on behalf of Paolo's exam, and we
used the time Paolo was studying to play duets together. Great. She and
Paolo play also together, but up till now only one work for the combination
"eefer"/bass clarinet is known to them, it has been written especially for
them by the Milanese composer Mauri. Maybe an idea for Bear Woodson?

In her letter Anne did not say to which part of Italy Ciprian will go. Paolo
and Antonella live in Capri, between Mantua and Modena, in, but at the South
of the Po plain. Modena is between Bologna and Parma.
