The Fennell/Eastman CD on Mercury is mono, if that matters -- or as the
label says: "original single microphone high fidelity mono." <g> Great
performances, though, even if it's not stereo.

BTW, they've added to the disk some things that weren't on the LP. The LP
had the Holst Suites 1 & 2 and Vaughan Williams Folk Song Suite & Toccata
Marziale. The CD adds to this Mennin: Canzona, Persichetti: Psalm, and
Reed: La Fiesta Mexicana -- which has, I think, the most boring bass
clarinet part in existence.
