I am requesting the following information for a friend whom has
inherited the following clarinets. She is interested in finding =
appraisal $estimates for the following as she is possibly considering =
selling or donating to local high school.
All clarinets are in excellent shape, well cared for, owner put =
orange peel in the cases to keep them moist.. played them alternately =
according to the music being performed. =20

1. LeBlanc set: Bb #12231/A #11615; with a label of
Symphonia L; manufactured in the late 1950's; double case.

2. Selmer set: Depose 55; Q 206 & Q 227
Owner has the correspondence between Gina B. Cioffi of the Boston =
Symphonywho handled the purchasing and inspection in Paris of these =
clarinets Infact, he even oversaw the making of the set in Paris in =
fall of 1956. Inletter from Mr. Cioffi from Boston dated 10/29/1956, he =
states that Dr. Hibner (owner) should receive his clarinets in a couple =
of weeks. The owner also secured a set of 8 barrels for Buffets.

3. Buffet Crampon A; #82644

4. Current owner has a collection of about 139 mouthpieces!
