I was going through some old music and I found an edition of the Devienne "Deuxieme Sonate" that I hadn't looked at since heaven's knows when. (1972 Editions Musicales Translantiques, Jacques Lancelot, editor.)

I was wondering if anyone has recently played this piece. The tempo for the Adagio is marked 108 - 112 for the sixteenth note. I was wondering if this seemed too fast to others who have played it.

Two questions: does anyone have a MIDI version of this. I looked all over and couldn't find one.

Is there a decent recording? (Haven't looked for that yet.)
