It has become obvious that as a younger person of 18, your views are
diffeent, dare I say more liberal than many of us on the list who are over
30 and in some cases (myself included) 40. This topic has been pretty well
exhausted, and it seems that it is going nowhere.

Might I suggest that you and Bill Hausmann take this topic off the list and
go private, and that we--as a list--get on with music related topics,
especially those relating to the clarinet?

"dress and groom yourself in a manner so as not to arouse suspicion"? It may
not be my place, as I've been very respecting and accomodating, but that
sent me falling over laughing. What about "don't judge a book by its cover"?
I'd like you to say that to some nice christian straight edge punk rockers.
Yes, they do exist, in fact straight edge means no drugs, no alcohol, and no
sex until marriage. They're very nice, moral people... but they look like
Sid Vicious and Johnny Rotten from the Sex Pistols, even though their
thoughts are completely different.
