For those who play the bass clarinet and want to improve on the instrument:

Paolo de Gaspari, a very fine bass clarinet player from Carpi, Italy, will
give a master class in Levico Terme (Trento) in Italy on July 21 next. Paolo
is a young bass clarinet player who studied the instrument with Henry Bok in
Rotterdam. He founded the Emiliano Clarinet Quartett and forms with his wife
the "Pantoduo" (a duo for E-flat and Bass clarinet). He tries to bring both
the knowledge and the playing of the instrument on a higher level.

The masterclass begins with a presentation on the instrument and the
technique of playing. Also a meeting with the composer Luca Belcastro is
planned. Of course the main part will be dedicated to individual lessons.
