I am seriously reconsidering this amount based on the great advice that I've
received from this list. Perhaps this money would rather be spent on more
important issues and things.

I've been pricing around and I'm really torn between the Noblet, Buffet
E-11, R-13 and Patricola eefers. It would be nice to have the best but I've
heard nothing about the E-11 and it seems to be a great buy as well.

Someone told me about the reed issue and alas I have to win over that issue
in my life. I am still gathering info on the Buffet reeds, the American
Music Standard reeds.

Reeds anyone?

Don't you mean (or maybe they meant) $7,500? Even that's a high estimate
given that a new R-13 goes for roughly $2,000-$2,200 a pop and you buy a
Bb and an A. That leaves somewhere around $3,000 left...you could buy a
third clarinet for that. What you could buy clarinet-wise with $75,000,
I have no clue!! But what I'd like to know is, where the heck do you
come up with that kind of money?? $75k is no pocket change (heck,
neither is $7,500)!!! And who told you $75k?
