I receive at least one request per week where I use my C
clarinet....anything from orchestra to weddings to church services or just
filling in for a flute or oboe and/or just about anywhere that an
instrument pitched in C is needed. I make more money on that clarinet than
any other woodwind I play and that includes everything but the bassoon
(which I don't play because my fingers are too short to cover the holes and
because I'm too cheap to buy a plateau system bassoon).
