Curious. Why would you presume (or find it easier to believe) that people
develop that part of the brain vs. some people are born with a larger area
of the brain that would predispose them to being musicians? The brain
doesn't grow larger with use (or we'd all be suffering some sort of extreme
inter-cranial pressure). Nature's not necessarily egalitarian even if we
wish it otherwise?

My presumption would be that, if true, it is because musicians, through
use, DEVELOP that portion of the brain more, not that the size would
incline us toward music. I don't find any problem with that logic.
