Have you noticed also that while the ICA website address appears as a link,
the two unsubscribe email addresses do not? At least this is true for what
I am seeing. Perhaps if that was changed it would make things easier.

That is the way I was looking at it also --- as a puzzle. A person
ought to be able to solve it. You've proven that the footer language
isn't the problem, but what is?

Perhaps simplifying Ezmim's welcome message (when a person subscribes)
would help 'engrave' the unsubscribe method in the subscriber's mind
right from the beginning? The message might be much shorter in order
that new subscribers actually read it, and it might say:

WHEN YOU WANT TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM KLARINET AND NO LONGER RECEIVE
MESSAGES, REMEMBER TO SEND AN EMAIL (SIMILAR TO THE ONE YOU JUST SENT IN
ORDER TO SUBSCRIBE) TO:

<whatever the address is>

For a list of other administrative and retrieval commands, send an email
to:

<some other address>

==========================

This strategy might save a whopping amount of disk space and telephone
charges because (perhaps) you could reduce the footer of each message to

Perhaps part of the problem is that the footer is too verbose, and some
people consider it to be fine print not worth absorbing?

Just a thought......

Cheers,
Bill
