I raised a question and did not say it was. I did not make a "statement" but
asked a question. That is entirely different.

I understand your position in this matter may be different than mine since
you have him as a teacher.

But to ask a question is not the same as asserting as a statement that this
is the case.

Please direct your protest to those that started the "Buzzy" thread as I
simply asked a queston about tuning.

If you have Kalman's phone number I would be happy to call him and ask.

I doubt that he would talk to me though as others have stated here in the
past due to his advanced age.

That is why I directed my question to those with knowledge of tuning on this
list.

Do you have first hand knowledge of tuning a clarinet? This was relavent to
my post.

Perhaps you should call Kal and speak with him about this. I'm sure he'd
have quite enough to say, though probably not in the nicest manner! This
statement above is absurd and completely unwarranted. Kal only seeks to
make the instrument do what the great makers, i.e. Buffet, say they will.
