Dan,
There must be a reason why he didn't use the C# otherwise. In fact, it's high
time I got more serious about trying to play these things on (copy of )
historical instruments. The tone colors are so special on each note. Between your
fascinating bits of information and Tony's statement that playing on old
instruments is like sex .... What am I waiting for!?
