Neil, I am feeling *SO* good tonight! I've extended my clarinet part
through measure 10, and it SWINGS!

You know how it can be.... you write something that you think is great,
and when you listen to it the next day, you grit your teeth and wonder
what you were thinking about. ....well, this evening is 48 hours
later, and I'm still stoked.

I certainly don't take all the credit. The first two measures of piano
that you wrote set me up for the rhythm and melody. Your insistence on
"letting go" and "not thinking" had their effect also. I just closed
my mind and asked my feet and eyes and lungs what notes should come
next.

.....anyway, it would be unfair for me to post too far ahead of you.
So I'll wait for my turn.

I found it necessary to make *minor* changes to what I've already
posted. Here are my changes:

============

MEASURE 1, BEAT 4

E/4 is replaced by 4 = 1/16-notes:

F natural/16 (1st space treble staff)

G/16 (up) B/16 (up) C/16 (up)

=============

MEASURE 2, BEAT 3

The accidental sharp on the F/16 is removed. Now it is F natural/16.

...and the next beat in the same measure:

MEASURE 2, BEAT 4

D/4 is replaced by 2 = 1/8-notes:

D/8 E/8

============

MEASURE 4, BEAT 3

E/16 (the final 1/16-note in this beat) is replaced by:

A/16 (2nd space treble staff)

Cheers,
Bill
