I sent this once, but it didn't come through to
the list. Trying again....

Hello list members,

I have been 'listening in' on your conversations
for a short time now and feel I should introduce
myself. I am obviously outclassed on this list
(at least, as far as clarinetists are concerned)
but will dip my toes in the water anyhow.

My name is Michelle and I am a simple 'stay at
home' homeschooling mom in rural Wisconsin. I
played clarinet 6th through 10th grades. At that
point, I switched schools and the new school did
not have a band program. I did well, as far as my
training went, and have regretted the fact that I
couldn't continue.

I would love to return to playing, but finances
being what they are, I can't afford so much as a
used public school cast-off right now. :o( So, I
am living vicariously through this list. Perhaps
a clarinet will fall from heaven and knock me
unconscious?

Doubtful, so I will continue to read & learn &
wish.

Michelle in WI
