There is a fairly inexpensive shareware solution that you could try called:

Amazing Slow Downer (hey, it's shareware- apparently they spent money
on the development not on testing names)

This is a very nice piece of software that can be used to shift pitch
and also be used to slow down or speed up passages for practice. I
