Just a thought; I was remembering how effortless Mike
Rusinek made the Neilsen Concerto sound when he was at
the advanced age of 16 or so; talk about fast-track!
If the finals are indeed playing in the orchestra "in
context" then that should produce the most accurate
assessment of how each of the candidates actually does
the job, and in the most open manner for all to hear.
Where is Sam Cavaziel now? Good luck to 'em all!
