If I'm correct, the highest note in both versions (I'm basing this on
Barenreiter Urtext) is a concert E, above the staff (A written G for the A
clarinet, an octave above the space on top of the staff), in the end of the
first movement, and in the third movement as well. Stoltzman's Cadenzas
would definitely tend to be very inventive, with double high C's and all, but

to my knowledge most people keep their ornamentations simpler (i.e. Sabine
Meyer's intepretation is wonderful, in my opinion. Quick, but wonderful)...
