First we must accept the fact that 90% of the reeds we can get commercially
are bad, sub-standard, and should never be used even in the practice room.
Now, I doubt this is a problem with your embouchure, especially if it's
occuring sporadically on only a few different reeds. To eliminate the
buzziness, you might try butterflying the tip or even clipping it (eek!).
So, based on my previous sentence, you should probably throw the reed away
:-)

If you're sure it's you, then your tongue may be placed incorrectly or your
throat may be doing acrobatics. I'm a firm believer in consistent voicing
across all registers. Try that.
