Hey, folks...
Last week I had the pleasure of visiting the Seattle area for my younger
daughter's high school graduation. While in Seattle I stepped into a store
called Lark in the Morning (http://www.larkinam.com/).
Many of you probably know about this store already, but I didn't...so I
enjoyed trying out a tarogato ($3850), and messing around with a metal low G
clarinet from Turkey ($450), and testing a straight B-flat soprano sax from
China ($450). I also futzed around with a chalumeau.
My daughter the flute/recorder player fell in love with a sopranino
recorder, which she ended up taking home as a graduation present ($90).
Anyway, if you are not already familiar with this company, they're a fun
resource. Oh, and they are a good source for bagpipes, too!
(And yes, Copper River king salmon is worth the money.)
