Just to add a thought... I'm still in the process of majoring in
clarinet performance at IU, so I can't necessarily tell you if I'll
regret having spent the money later (though it's not likely!)
However, I can tell you, like my parents told me while I was making
the decision to major, that I would certainly regret forever not
having at least tried my hardest, wondering if I could have made it in
such a great career. Try it now while you've got the opportunity and
you can always do something else later (arts administration maybe?)
