Thanks for your kind response. By the way, I flunked my "audition"
to take voice lessons at Oberlin. Seems like my voice wasn't high enough
to be an alto. I'm glad I didn't get that operatic training, because I
have had a wonderful career as a blues and jazz singer. I think voice
training at Oberlin at that time (1966-69) would have probably ruined my
ability to sing and earn a living.
I am so delighted to hear that Tim is such a wonderful musician. I
am not surprized at all. If I sounded like I was making negative remarks
about him, I really wasn't. I was just commenting about how people
percieve things differently at different times in their lives. I always
enjoyed being around him and hearing what he had to say. ANNIE
