Unfortunately, ICA does not acknowledge a new member until the first
issue of "The Clarinet" arrives. If you join at the wrong moment, you may
wait 3 months to hear from ICA and get your first magazine.

I've written to Julie DeRoche, President of ICA, and asked her to
reconsider this problem. I've also forwarded the latest correspondence
from the list. I'll let you know what I hear about it.
