I believe a few list members own Patricola clarinets, and even Eb
clarinets. I'm trying out some Eb clarinets for the U of Richmond music
department, and was pleasantly surprised by the Patricola grenadilla Eb
that we got to try. However, there is a problem - a key linkage that
defeats the long altissimo F by closing the C# key when any right hand
rings are depressed. Is there a way around this? The "long" fingerings
are a way of life on Eefer in that range.
