I assume that a lot of us like to play duets with ourselves (at least now I know I'm not
the
only one!) when we can't get any real musical friends to play with us. So how
does everyone do it technically -- do you create MIDI files and play through you
computer or make audio recordings of yourself (which can still sound like an accordian
when you use a cheap mike -- or is it just me?) on either your computer or tape deck?

And to digress further -- remember when you could buy a tape deck and it
actually came with a hole in the front to stick the microphone plug into?
