Yes, Richard you're right. I've been using the "BBQ your clarinet" method
for as long as I could remember and figured it wasn't the best of options.
Fortunately, I've always been lucky, but one never knows how it'll go next
time. Good to know the preferred method is to go with a new pad. Would you
be able to tell me how to properly do this? As I said, I don't think I've
ever learned. Sounds silly, I know.
